Sales Terms & Conditions

Welcome to North Georgia Meat Company (NGMeat.com). By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure transparency and provide the highest quality service for our farm-to-table products.

1. General Ordering & Acceptance

  • Order Confirmation: All orders placed through NGMeat.com or in store are subject to acceptance. You will receive an automated confirmation email once your order is placed; however, this does not signify our legal acceptance of the order.

  • Product Availability: Since we work with small-batch, farm-raised products (including Standing Stone American Wagyu and Gilmer’s Pork), availability may fluctuate. In the event an item is out of stock, we will contact you to offer a substitution or a refund.

2. Pricing & Payments

  • Weights and Measures: Many of our products are "catch-weight" items (billed by actual weight). While we provide estimated prices online, the final price may be adjusted slightly based on the final scale weight during packing.

  • Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards and secure online payment processors. Payment is required in full before an order is dispatched or made available for pickup.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • Perishable Handling: All meat products are shipped in insulated packaging with coolant (dry ice or gel packs) to maintain food safety temperatures.

  • Shipping Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the package on the delivery date. North Georgia Meat Company is not responsible for spoilage due to packages being left unattended for extended periods or incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

  • Transit Delays: While we partner with reliable carriers to ensure 1-2 day transit times, we are not liable for delays caused by weather or carrier logistics.

4. Local Pickup

  • Location: Orders designated for local pickup can be collected at our retail market in Ellijay Plant address, our partner at Vice Kitchen.

  • Storage Fee: Orders not picked up within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time may be subject to a restocking fee, or the product may be forfeited without a refund due to the perishable nature of the goods.

5. Refunds & Returns

  • Perishable Goods Policy: Due to USDA regulations and food safety standards, we cannot accept returns on meat products once they have left our custody.

  • Quality Concerns: If there is an issue with the quality of your order or if an item is damaged, please contact us at sales@ngmeat.com within 24 hours of receipt. Please include photos of the product and packaging so we can resolve the issue via credit or replacement.

6. Subscription Boxes

  • Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed automatically based on the frequency selected (monthly/quarterly).

  • Cancellation: You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time via your account portal. Changes must be made at least 5 business days prior to the next billing date to avoid being charged for that cycle.

7. Limitation of Liability

North Georgia Meat Company is not liable for any health issues arising from improper storage, handling, or cooking of the products once delivered. Customers are encouraged to follow USDA guidelines for meat safety and internal temperatures.


? Cooking Recommendation

To ensure the best experience with our premium cuts, always allow your meat to reach room temperature before cooking and utilize a digital thermometer to reach your desired level of doneness. For our Standing Stone American Wagyu, we recommend a searing heat to capitalize on the high fat-marbling content.
